Within one conversation
Earlier turns travel with each follow-up so the assistant can hold the thread. That is part of the request itself rather than a setting, and you clear it by deleting the conversation.
Memory
Most assistants either forget everything between sessions or quietly keep all of it. Logos does neither by default: Memory is off until you turn it on, and you turn it on one area at a time.
Two different things
Earlier turns travel with each follow-up so the assistant can hold the thread. That is part of the request itself rather than a setting, and you clear it by deleting the conversation.
Carrying details, preferences, and goals from one conversation into the next is Memory. It is a separate, opt-in feature, and nothing is saved across conversations until you enable it.
Memory can be switched on for general chat, health, or planning independently. Enabling it for planning does not start remembering your health conversations.
Turning it off
Turning Memory off stops facts being saved or looked up for new requests. It does not erase a conversation already in progress, because those turns belong to the request rather than to Memory. If you want that content gone as well, delete the conversation, or switch Cloud AI off entirely so new requests stop leaving the device. Being precise about this matters more than sounding reassuring, so the privacy policy spells out exactly what is included in a request.
Removing it
From the app you can export local data, delete local analysis history, delete local wellness history, reset local state, sign out, and request account deletion. Run history stays until you delete it or your account, apart from limited security, backup, billing, fraud-prevention, and legal records. Logos does not sell your information, does not use it for advertising, and does not use connected-app data to train or improve generalized AI models.
Where it helps
Memory is most useful for the things you would otherwise repeat every time: how you like summaries framed, what you are working towards, constraints that keep coming up. Combined with Apple Health summaries and calendar and reminder context, it means a daily plan that starts from what it already knows. Logos is available in the United States and is not a medical device.
